Dear Times Reader,  
Welcome to The New York Times.  
I want to take this moment to thank you for registering and  
introduce myself.  
A bit about me: I’m an editor who works with different sections (such as Style or Sports) to  
publish significant, multistory projects.  
Previously, I was a deputy editor on the Metro desk,  
conceiving, assigning and editing news stories about the New York area.  
At The Times, I’ve worked with reporters to uncover a variety of stories.  
Some of them are pieces  
on difficult subjects, like how the city’s elite high schools have

Hispanic students  
in recent years; while others are uplifting packages, like
