We're inspired by your generosity  
Seven years ago,  number Giving Tuesday was brand new just a scrappy idea started by our friends at the  
92nd Street Y in New York City.  
Then, generous people just like you stepped in, and that scrappy  
idea began to spread.  
Today, millions of people around the world will celebrate generosity by giving their time, money,  
and voices to support the organizations they love.  
They’ll counter problems like dirty water,  
poverty, education, and homelessness. And the world will be better for it.  
We want to thank you.  
Not just for being part of  number Giving Tuesday today, but for changing lives every month as a member of  
The Spring and inspiring generosity in the people around you too.
