Today’s March on Washington  
On this day in 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  
gave his historic  I Have a Dream  speech during  
the March on Washington.  
While a lot has changed since then, the fight against racial injustice is  
far from over.  
Today, on the 57th anniversary of that momentous day, thousands of people will take to the streets  
to march against police violence, systemic racism, and racial inequality.  
We firmly stand with  
those marching in the ongoing fight for justice and equality.  
As a company that powers movement, we want to help everyone move freely and safely while marching.  
That’s why we’re sharing the ACLU’s Protesters’ Rights resource to help keep those who are marching  
today informed.

In July, we announced

to becoming an anti racist company.  
Among these  
commitments is a responsibility to help create a community that treats everyone equally and with  
dignity.  
Our Community Guidelines explicitly state that we do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or  
racism on our platform. We will hold everyone who uses Uber accountable to this standard.  
We ask  
anyone not willing to abide by these rules to delete Uber.
