There's only one real option here   you must enlist the help of every mouse in the neighborhood.  
Seriously, squash the feud for a few weeks and get the rodents on your side.  
The mice will act as  
such a horrific and dramatic distraction that your mom will simply forget all about the beginning  
of school. Fresh pencils, new binders, notebooks   all forgotten, left to the dust.  
If you're unable to get a group of clever and dedicated rodents on your side, you'll simply have to  
bargain with her. Perhaps you can trade in school days for extra snacks?  
If this doesn't work, a  
good pee in the shoe will always get you where you need to go.
