Dear Foodsby Customer, As you are aware, there has been a lot of communication in the media and by public health authorities regarding COVID 19, also called Coronavirus. At Foodsby, our top priority is always the safety and well being of our people, partners, customers, and the communities in which we live and work. We are reaching out today to let you know that we are watching the situation closely, and to share information about how we’re interacting with restaurants and customers during this heightened time. How We're Working with Restaurants Our Restaurant Partners are responsible for the preparation and delivery of the meals you order on Foodsby. We always expect that they and their employees understand and are adhering to governmental and industry recommendations and best practices relating to health and food safety. Given the growing concerns about COVID 19, we also sent communication to our restaurant partners this week asking them to actively monitor and follow developing recommendations and best practices of public health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U dot S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the U dot S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), as well as state and local governmental authorities. Starting on Monday, March 16, our restaurant partners will now see a new reminder each time they log into Foodsby that reiterates the health and safety expectations we have of them as our partner. They must agree that they have reviewed this information in order to view and process your orders. How We're Helping our Customers At Foodsby, Contactless Delivery has always been part of our DNA. It’s the way we’ve operated since the beginning. We do not require person to person contact when your meal is delivered to your building. You’re not paying for your order when it arrives, you’re not interacting with a 3rd party delivery driver, and you do not have to be present for your meal to be delivered. Your food is cooked, packaged, and delivered by the restaurant you order from, and left at a kiosk for you to pick up as soon as you’re notified. These advantages, which have been tested and perfected for nearly a decade, help us control quality and limit the amount of people who come into contact with you and your food.
