We designed Traffic to fill that void to be a publication for data driven business practitioners who are interested in the metrics underlying new strategies and tactics. At Piano, we believe our Saa S platform is fundamentally a tool for creative people to turn data into successful digital experiences. So we are always interested in both the human ingenuity and the mathematics that drive success. Traffic has become a great vehicle for us to inquire and explore other companies around us, and we think you’ll enjoy reading about what we found. But as much as we love creating Traffic and printing it as a glossy magazine, mailing paper copies to empty offices would not have made sense. So instead, as we all have, our editorial team has been forced to adapt. Welcome to our first ever, digital only edition. link graphic Read Traffic Vol. 4 now The world changed dramatically while we were working on this issue, but we are finding that the content is more relevant now than when we began. Take our cover story, which focuses on how big data is reinventing health care assisting the 157 million plus Americans who are managing chronic disease in 2020. It’s exactly those individuals who are at the greatest risk during a pandemic. And they’re the ones who now most need to manage their symptoms remotely, making the demand for at home services like telemedicine, blood work, prescriptions, and therapy more apparent than ever. Our articles on Tik Tok and video streaming are also as pertinent as before unsurprisingly, both have seen surges in popularity as more people are forced to stay at home. And that boost has affected other types of media as well. In the first month of the pandemic, Piano data showed a 64 percent increase in pageviews and an 81 percent increase in digital subscriptions among our hundreds of media clients. The best part of Traffic is the dialog it creates among our community of clients, partners, competitors, and other leaders in the industry; so please don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know what you think at link feedback at trafficmagazine dot com dot We hope to hear from you, and that you will enjoy these subjects and the many others featured in Traffic Vol. 4 in good health and good spirits.
