All steel parts of our furniture, even the tiniest of bolts, are dipped in a bath of 98,98 percent pure Norwegian zinc at a temperature of 450 degrees Celsius to create this rust resistant alloy. If the surface is damaged, hot dipped products repair themselves through the zinc contracting and forming a new coating in the damaged area. Hot dip galvanizing is a method that was patented by the French engineer Sorel in 1837, and which these days is carried out in accordance with the strict environmental requirements defined in ISO 1461. link Hot dip galvanizing in action link graphic Website link graphic Facebook link graphic Pinterest link graphic Link Want to change how you receive these emails?
