Evans is a skilled artist, illustrator and printmaker, whose bold lino cut prints featuring seascapes and landscapes have been exhibited UK wide. Featuring original drawings, paintings and lino prints – all of which are link available to buy – the exhibition draws on Evans’ fascination with the links between rural traditions and our connection to the British landscape. Evans explores sense of place through depictions of landmarks, monuments, chalk figures, coastal paths and fishing boats. link Find out more link graphic Sunrise in the Skyspace heading level 3 SUNRISE IN THE SKYSPACE £28 14 Dec 2019 slash 06.30 to 09.00 Created by American artist link James Turrell , the Deer Shelter Skyspace consists of a large square chamber inside the Park's 18th century Deer Shelter, with an aperture cut into the roof. As the sun rises, you'll experience heightened visions of the changing Yorkshire sky in a place of contemplation and revelation. The event continues with breakfast, tea and coffee in the YSP Restaurant. In the nave of YSP’s 18th century Chapel, three monumental organic forms rise from the ground, spread with landscapes, buildings and mysterious structures.
